Online Music learning is an impossible thing. That was my point of view a couple of months back.

Learning music (Instrument or Vocals) and art form (Dance) needs proper guidance from a professionally experienced guru or faculty. However, this Lockdown has changed everything, even my viewpoint.

My 7.5-year son started learning Keyboard from one of my Friends, Akshay, who has run his Music &Arts School in Dombivali for the last five years and is currently in this Lockdown engaging together with his students through an online medium for the last few months.
 
My wife and I always wanted our son to learn an instrument, and considering his age and my son like the Keyboard; we decided to go ahead with the same. However, being unable to urge good faculty and learn the Keyboard from Akshay was also impossible, as we were staying in Mira Road. One day, once I was chatting with him, I suddenly chose to start my son’s online keyboard class. In only a month, after 8-9 classes, my son Vihaan started playing eight small songs and tried to play new songs like Ajeeb Dastan He Yeh and Tanhaji theme song.

This is often an enormous surprise for my wife and me because before starting online classes, we tried to show them the Keyboard and several other options to Vihaan. However, we couldn’t convince him much. But now, within such a short period, he has started practising regularly. An added icing to the cake is improving his concentration and retention abilities.
