Tarana Thakita | Kathak Bharatanatyam Jugalbandi | Online Dance Fellowship
This dance piece exhibits an intricate choreography, showcasing Bharatanatyam and Kathak in their truest form using Traditional Tarana music. Fast, intricate footwork with Bharatanatyam Jathis juxtaposed with complex footwork and chakkars in Kathak is synchronized to single music. The choreography showcases distinct differences between the two styles of dance, along with their similarities. This composition also highlights the relationship between the dancers who complement and appreciate each other’s dance style.
